Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy
The Gold Standard Therapy for Lymphoedema. This takes a comprehensive approach to managing and reducing lymphedematous swelling and supporting long term management of lymphoedema.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
A specialised gentle massage that targets the lymphatic system, stimulating lymph flow and movement around the body, helping to reduce swelling, supporting the body to eliminate waste products and improve immune health. It happens to be rather relaxing and enjoyable too!
Pre & Post Surgery Support
Pre and Post Surgery treatments are tailored to the requirements of the individual. Alongside manual lymphatic drainage massage to reduce managing swelling or fibrosis and support wound healing, wound care and dressing changes may also be required.
Lipoedema Management Support
Lipoedema is often known as ‘the painful fat disorder’. It is an inflammatory condition that often causes swelling, discomfort and heavy legs/arms. With treatments including lymphatic massage, the wearing of appropriate compression garments, sequential compression pumps and dietary and lifestyle changes, symptoms can often be reduced and managed.
Compression Garment Fitting & Supply
Medical grade compression garments can be prescribed, fitted and supplied (requires consultation). We have access to many garment brands including Sigvaris, Medi, Haddenham and Mobiderm. We can also supply Sequential Intermittent Pneumatic Compression therapy pumps too (SIPC).
