About Us
With over a decade of Nursing experience including in the emergency department, on medical and surgical wards, in community and palliative settings, and in Nursing Education, Rachael has a wealth of experience in Healthcare. With a keen interest in natural health and wellbeing too, she has qualified in a number of natural health and massage modalities over the years including Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and Swedish Body Massage. This interest in Health and Wellness from both a medical and wellness perspective is what initially attracted her to study further and learn more about Lymphatic Health, something so often overlooked and disregarded yet so vital in maintaining a healthy body. She is now accredited with Lymphoedema Academy of Australia and the Australian Institute of Lymphoedema and enjoys supporting her patients with a variety of lymphatic related health concerns and also with general wellbeing.
Working from her clinic in Ripley, she welcomes patients from surrounding suburbs and further afield. With a passion for palliative care and disability support, she also offers home visits for select patients who are unable to attend the clinic, availability dependent.
With a special interest in Lipoedema, Rachael understands the condition well and welcomes patients wanting support to manage this condition, both from a conservative management approach to pre and post lipoedema surgery support .
Rachael’s Nursing background also allows her to support her patients with additional services where required, including wound care and personal care needs if necessary. For any additional support requirements a longer appointment may be required, so please contact to discuss prior to booking.
